ABOUT
Seowon Hyun is a composer for film, TV from South Korea who started her career in South Korea and now based in Los Angeles. She was one of main house composer for Korean renowned film music director Bang Jun-seok, and composed 11 feature films with him including many of top gross films in South Korean film history. <The Book of Fish(2021)> that she participated as a composer was awarded Blue Dragon Award for Best Score in 2021 in Korea.
Seowon moved to LA in 2021 and finessed her scoring skills studying in USC Screen Scoring Master Program. There, she was awarded The Sandra and Alan Silvestri Scholarship as the highest honor of her music. She is now working with composer Tony Morales and getting to know the industry in LA more and trying to expand her musical voice of her own culture and backgrounds.
